The Saucony Kinvara 6 Review

With each new release of the Saucony Kinvara series I experience a Christmas morning enthusiasm. There are few shoes I could confidently remove from the box and take on the long run, the Kinvara is one of those. And the Kinvara 6 do not disappoint. This will serve as a pre-review just to express my initial experiences with the shoe.

This is a great shoe! I am so totally comfortable in the new release that I have included them in my next ultra effort. On June 6th I run my next Bethel Hill Moonlight Boogie and I will complete this race wearing either the new Kinvara 6, or their worn out relative, the Kinvara 5.

The Kinvara series are my standard to which other shoes are compared. They have always fit and felt wonderfully. But starting with the Series 5 the toe box felt a bit wider and allowed just a bit more room for toe splay, a marvelous improvement. Also beginning with the Series 5 was a new design for the upper including the lacing technology. The shoe now allows for a more glove-like wrap and I have never developed any hot spots. The cushioning is ample enough to feel wonderfully but not so deep to feel squishy or bouncy. Each foot plant is secure, level and firm.

I am so looking forward to the Boogie. And with the Kinvara 6 along for the ride I have the added comfort in knowing that I need not worry about my feet, the Kinvara 6 will have them covered!

Highly, highly recommend!
